Could there potentially be good news for those in the construction industry who worry about a recession?
There has been a large variation in forecasts for economic change and growth and some analysts and economists are deeply concerned that we are heading for more of an economic downturn. On the flip side, however, there may be some positive news. According to Moody’s Analytics Chief Economist Mark Zandi, it is looking like there could be some good news for companies looking to continue to build as, “Recession is not inevitable today, nor is it the most likely path for the economy…”
While there are mixed forecasts, some companies have a more favorable outlook for their economic future.
Marc Goldwein, senior policy director at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, discussed some negative potential factors, he also discussed a few factors that could help slow inflation. Could the repair of supply chains and declining equity prices help cure the current issues affecting businesses?
